Son cycle est assez long et sa production faible.<br \/>Culinairement parlant, il est id\u00e9al pour faire des boulettes de riz japonaises (Onigiri), il absorbe assez bien les bouillons, il a une texture miell\u00e9e qui le rend sp\u00e9cial, et que vous le mangiez juste bouilli, ou que vous l&rsquo;utilisiez pour faire du bouillon de riz ou des casseroles , son go\u00fbt ne vous laissera pas indiff\u00e9rent.
